life is too short to eat purple skittles.

for some reason i have never cared for the purple ones. i like other grape-flavored candy, just not the grape skittle. yet whenever i get a bag i feel compelled to eat every last skittle - even the detested purple one - as if my wastefulness would be a gross atrocity committed against some starving people group. but the reality is that nobody in africa wants my nasty purple skittle anyhow. so, as of today, i'm not eating them. i will throw away the skittle bag still containing a few sugary remnants and not feel one bit bad about it.

maybe i have a soulmate out there somewhere who detests red, yellow, orange, and green skittles, but has a special affinity for the purple skittle. what a team we could make. you might say we'd be "two skittles in a pod."
