ya know, it never ceases to amaze me that 1) people actually read my posts, and 2) they take their valuable time to offer helpful hints and suggestions in response to my frequent mishaps and/or mere observations. for instance, i have learned methods for removing garlic odor from my hands, the addresses of multiple metroplex shipley's, conspiracy theories on why office coffee is bad, and where the best projector clocks on the market are sold. allow me to share with you the latest tip that may help you bring some laundry back from the dead:

"A shirt which has been shrunk, can be unshrunk! While the shirt is still wet/damp...gently pull/tug the sleeve, holding onto the shoulder and cuff...also, try working up and down the sleeve, to insure the stretching is applied equally along the entire sleeve. Then...make it sit in "time out" while it dries without the benefit of a dryer...that should teach it a lesson. This method doesn't work so well on tough, heavy fabrics like denim (if you have some high-waters goin' on), but for items like long sleeve cotton T-shirts, and sweaters...it should work." - Scott Stephens (a man who has reeeeally screwed up a lot of laundry in the past)

many thanks to my thoughtful and wise readership.
