i don't know what i was thinking when i got dressed this a.m. i couldn't have picked a worse combination of pants, socks, and shoes. most notably, it's the socks that are out of sorts. they just simply don't fit into the context of this ensemble and i'm frankly embarrassed to be seen by coworkers. but they're mostly programmer types, so maybe they won't notice...
