i'm having leftover pei wei for lunch. i've always wanted to be that work-wearied, yet still glamorous-looking professional who sits at her desk eating from a chinese take-out box. it's kinda like being in the movies, except that there's no soundtrack playing, i'm not working late with the cute guy from marketing, there's no pressing deadline to meet, and there's no one to impress with my fabulous last-minute idea that saved both my client and the firm from a potentially embarrassing situation. other than that, it's just like the movies. really.
