i am a firm believer that there are (at least) two things that you should never pack up and move to a new location: the toilet brush and plunger. critics might call me wasteful to wantonly toss such perfectly "good" items into the garbage, but i would argue that when i invest in new toilet accessories, i am doing my part to stimulate the economy. i would consider myself a fairly frugal person overall, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself and splurge.

some ingenius folks would go a step beyond my suggestion of one pair of toilet accessories per locale and recommend all out disosable versions of these items. i applaud their efforts and look forward to the day when i can find toss-away plungers on the shelf at my local grocer.
