i saw the two towers again yesterday. it really is a good movie, it's just long. by the time you factor in early arrival to the theatre (must get good seats!), snack purchases, pre-movie potty trips, and a wad of previews and commercials, you've been at the theatre a solid hour before you get to the actual movie. by the time the featured presentation comes on - and i kid you not - i most always have to rack my brain to remember what movie it is that i came to see. sad, but true.

in other movie-going news, i've recently noticed that lever 2000 has started gluing packets of handy wipes to the large popcorn tubs. a truly genius marketing campaign. just a thought, but kimberly-clark might want to consider finding a clever way to market depends outside the doors of these blockbuster epics. you could get so much more out of a movie if you didn't have to get up 3 times to unload that extra-large coke consumed before the movie even started. who knows, but cardboard cut-outs of hobbits (or perhaps orcs?) wearing adult diapers just might be the next big thing...
