i'm still in class. we're talking about how to create html forms. my boredom factor is off the charts. i have learned one thing though: with the exception of a few cases (mouseovers, browser detection, and maybe form validation), client-side javascript is used for evil. think about those annoying pop-up windows, marquee scrolls, and every other ugly and/or irritating element you've ever seen on a web page - i'm betting it was either an animated gif or it was produced with javascript.
