sometimes, if there are a lot of people at starbucks, they'll write your name on the cup. such was the case this morning. when i picked up my drink, i noticed the lady had written "Carry" on the side. yeah, like the verb, "to carry." this dredged up memories of when my blind date for senior homecoming presented me with a mum that had a glittery "Carry" spelled out down one of the ribbons. i refused to wear it. i did not, however, refuse to drink the coffee.

i realize there are twenty something ways to spell "Carrie," so i am generally forgiving when it comes to misspellings. but to spell it like the verb? come on, people. work with me.
