Mission #3: The Swimming Competition
Today, we swim! Picture yourself on the edge of the pool. You're about to jump in and go for the Gold. Freestyle, breast stroke, butterfly, backstroke-- whatever, the event choice is up to you. But the moment you've been training for is almost here... and you need to warm up. Get loose. Stretch. Practice your stroke.
You really need to stay lose. (This is the Olympics after all...) So you practice as you walk down the hall... and sit at your desk...and talk to co-workers... and make coffee... and wait on the elevator...
BUT, no matter how often you are asked about it, you never explain the stretching or discuss your warm-up. (You need to focus-- stay in your head.) You may however comment with appropriate Olympic quips such "just getting ready for the big event," "preparing to qualify," and "I don't want to jinx myself by talking about it right now."
