Mission #7: EGO-biathalon, Chart your course to the Finnish line!
Today in an effort to learn more about our world—and our fellow Olympians™ homelands –we will focus on geography! Today's assignment will be a two-part activity:
Part A: Cartography Fun!
Start by drawing a picture of Finland. Color it and make it attractive. (Indicate Sweden and Russia, but Do Not write the word "Finland"-- instead draw a line and underneath it write something to the affect of: "Ah, the Old Country.") Tape it to a prominent office/cubicle wall. If asked, you may respond: "The country between Sweden and Russia, naturally."
Part B: Get Your Fin On!
Ask questions and encourage as much conversation about Finland as you can throughout the day. Use your best Finnish accent! Be creative in your reasons for your sudden need for Finnish info and lore—and always conclude your conversations w/ some variation of: "Well, I guess I'm (we're) finished." (Hint: Take a quick-trip to finland.org or finland-tourism.com for talking pts.)
Bonus Points:
1. Shoot digi-pix of your art and post. (Art will be judged.)
2. Write a better tagline for Finland-- promoting tourism, naturally.
