i frequently buy baked potatoes for lunch in the cafeteria downstairs. every time i put the exact same toppings on: butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and chives (in that order), but every time the potato costs something different. this is a mystery to me. sometimes the whole package is $1.75 (a bargain!). at other times the price has skyrocketed to as much as $2.87. what gives? baked potato pricing is obviously subjective.
