my boredom factor is off the charts. i finished the major project i was working on. i have completed as many random self-appointed tasks as i can possibly dream up. i have checked my poor inbox relentlessly. i have composed my resignation letter. what's left to do, but bide my time for 14 more work days? i may go resign early just to have something to do. i had forgotten how dreadful boredom can be.

i have this fear that as soon as i resign, they'll go check the server log files to see what sites i visited "on the company dime" and quickly discover that i spent my final weeks checking my bank balance and reading other people's blogs. even worse, they might unearth thebiscuit.net, a virtual treasure-trove of incriminating material. but then, what are they going to do? fire me? muahahaha
