we milled around boston today in the dreary weather. i saw my first public pay toilet, the kind that cleans itself after each use. yi, gabe, and i paid a quarter and all went inside for a look-see. it was really quite fascinating. you don't actually have to touch any surface (unless you're the type that sits on public toilets) - even the soap dispenser was automatic! we stood in there for a good five minutes and took pictures. when we came out, all the people walking by gave us strange looks. you'd think they'd never seen a public pay toilet either.
