not suprisingly, i have managed to find internet access in the middle of nowhere. well, close to the middle of nowhere - we're in blue ridge, georgia. we decided to nix hiking for the day and come into civilization. besides my dad and i at the library, two of our party are off looking at antiques, three more are at a pottery shop, and another is still unaccounted for since yesterday's hike.

i'm convinced that if a video camera was following us around we would have sufficiently rich material for a new reality tv series. it would be something along the lines of "the donner party meets eight is enough."
