houston's KHOU ran an investigative report last nite on the dangers of pedicures. apparently there is all manner of "fungus amongus" living on the tools and in the water - spa pedicures (gasp!) are the worst and, ironically, the most expensive.

i had an appointment for a pedi this afternoon, but cancelled it. am i destined to a life of scraggly, self-painted toes?
