i bought the new sarah mclachlan cd. i was sort of half-listening to it while driving last night and thought to myself that it sounded similar to her older material. as quickly as the thought came, it left and my mind continued to wander. my ponderings eventually returned to the music, at which point i thought "i'm liking the cd, but the songs are all kinda sounding the same."

it was then i realized that my cd player was set to "repeat" and i had been listening to the same track for thirty minutes.
