who would have known you had to fill out so many papers to get married? i got to the bottom of the first form and saw the signature line. it occurred to me that i had never signed my new name. so now i am furiously practicing on scrap paper. maybe cementing a consistent signature doesn't matter quite yet on account of this is not a swiss bank application.

a lovely bonus to the name change process is that i get a middle name now. why, i hardly even know what to do with a middle initial!!
