With minimal fanfare, I have given my two-weeks notice as manager of the coffee shop.
This may be shocking for those of you who walked through my Great Cubicle Exodus with me five years ago. Five years ago? I feel old. And you probably are, too, if you've been reading my blog that long.
I will be staying with the coffee shop, but moving to a different location
and working as a minion. It's gonna feel good to be a little guy (and when I say "little" I'm of course implying "still important," just not "as important").
I'll probably be looking for a little work on the side, so if you need a web site developed, your yard mowed, a witty comrade for an afternoon, or someone to polish your silver, I'm you're girl.

5 Years is a dang long time - especially for the CW now D. Congrats on demoting yourself. Life as a little ole barista is going to be, oh so well...a job without much responsibility. Way to Go!
5 years, huh? Well done. Should you find yourself in the market for a slightly-less-witty-than-yourself comrade for an afternoon, you need only look as far as one of the folks who sought Daily Skiff celebrity status with you, but never quite achieved it. No me recuerdo, mi amiga.
Well, AJ, good to hear from you. Who knows that we couldn't still fulfill our collegiate aspirations?? I'll put my thinking cap on.
Oh, but the downside is that I can't stay up late enough to achieve serious mischief. A sign of impending old age, I fear.
