Road Trip!

During my childhood, I collected the following: shiny rocks, patches, marbles, foreign money, collar/shirt pins, and Coke paraphernalia. Sorry, mom and dad, that a lot of these now-dusty objects are probably still in your attic.

Ten or so years ago, I decided to start collecting state border pictures to chronicle my travels across the continental US. I kicked off the collection with a few family vacation photos from the Eighties. So far, I've gotten over half of the states (though I've missed out on some that I visited pre-collection). There are still many trips to be made!

To all of you who have endured road trips with me* for the main purpose of snapping a border pic, thank you for your patience and company. Also, thank you for your willingness to flip freeway u-turns and park along scary shoulders.
